Daniel Beeson-Bergeron
Program Director/Guitar Instructor
Daniel has a passion for all things guitar and music education. He holds a degree from the University of Lethbridge in music and classical guitar performance. From electric to acoustic and classical to rock ’n’ roll, he can find a song to share in just about any style, using that enthusiasm to connect with students of all ages. His experience across genres helps him build strong relationships with students while fostering a lasting love for music.

Piano Teacher
Bakhora has been teaching music for over 10 years. During which she has worked with different aged groups of children.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music and is currently doing her Master’s Degree at the University of Lethbridge.
Bakhora’s love of children and passion for teaching enables her to bring out the very best in each student. She believes in the countless benefits of music in one’s life.
Lucy Du
Art Teacher
Lucy is a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys teaching students of all ages. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Lethbridge, and her background brings a dynamic mix of painting, imagination, and storytelling into the classroom. Lucy’s patience and love of teaching help students enjoy the creative process, and she believes art is a meaningful way to build confidence and self-expression.
Frank Allen
Executive Director
Frank is one of the Co-Founders of Branches. His passion for partnering to create this program was driven by his love for music (has been making music for 40+ years), his love for kids (father of 5 and foster parent), and his love for his community (especially finding ways to support the vulnerable, at-risk, or those needing some support) .
Jessica Groeneveld
Founder
Jessica is the founder of Branches. If you take a look through any family photo album, you will quickly see that there was never a time in her life that music was not front and centre. When asked, Jessica will tell you that the two things she is most passionate about are music, and ensuring that all children have a chance to realize their dreams.
Jessica is excited about seeing Branches grow, as it is a culmination of all her investment in this field and these passions. She has been teaching violin since 2014 , holds a degree in music from the University of Lethbridge, has had multiple jobs in program planning for children, and six months living in Africa working with children and families from all walks of life.
