After School Main Program

Branches runs Monday-Thursday 4:00 - 5:30 for children in grades 3-7. We offer piano, guitar, and voice/choir.
Sending in an application does not guarantee acceptance to the program. Program Components

This is the largest portion of each day. Students break into their individual instrument groupings and receive group instruction learning the basics of their instrument and laying the foundation for all additional learning.

Ensemble class reinforces skills such as cooperation, community, and communication. In this class, all students from the school meet together to learn a performance piece and discover how to play as part of a group.

Students will start their day with a healthy snack. They will be able to talk to their friends and teachers and will have time to colour or play board games.

Students will have opportunities to practice with their instruments. Teachers will be available to answer questions and assist.

Extra activities and games will be focused around music theory, music appreciation, creative expression, and community building.
